Solution

When cleaning the control panel, leave the microwave door open to prevent it from accidentally turning on. If the control panel becomes wet, clean it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh detergents or abrasives.

Do not use cleaning materials that contain chlorine since it is corrosive to stainless steel. Do not use oven cleaners. To prevent baked-on soil, clean food spatters or spilled liquids as they occur. To help loosen deposits before cleaning, heat 2 cups of water in a 4 cup measuring container at high power for 5 minutes or until boiling.
