How to solve problems with your Siemens Fridges and Freezers

Despite prolonged operating time, ice cubes are not being dispensed. (For the model that Ice & water Dispenser with tap connection)

1) Please ensure that the water line is connected and the water valve is open.

2) Please check the temperature of the freezer compartment. We recommend a setting of -18 °C on the freezer compartment.

3) Please check if < IWD off > is illuminated on the display panel or not. If yes, please follow the below steps to switch on the ice and water dispenser function. (Applicable to selected model only)

  • a) Keep pressing the < options > button, until the < IWD off > function is selected with a triangle.
  • b) Pressing the < - > selection button to switch off the lit on <IWD off>.

Door alarm – a buzzing sound

If the appliance door is left open for a while, the warning sound is switched on. The < alarm> button flashes (Applicable to selected model only).

The door alarm can be cleared by closing the door or press <alarm> bottom. Please ensure the appliance door is always close properly. Please do not open the door for a long time.
